Classroom for 3 to 6 years old
The ethereal age range of 3 to 6 years is characterized by being the stage in which the pure essence of Montessori education is appreciated. Its creator dedicated 30 years to the study of boys and girls of this age and laid the foundations of a methodology that is still a reference in positive and respectful education today.
In Children´s home learning revolves around Practical Life, and once the Sensorial area is mastered, we work on Mathematics and Language.
The moment becomes vital, as children put numerous practical skills into practice to share this moment. They themselves are responsible for all the tasks involved, which are distributed and coordinated as a group. This instance generates the appropriate climate for working on other aspects such as self-management of appetite and the area of grace and courtesy.
English and Spanish coexist as vehicular languages, with the presence and help of adults always present.
At the end of this stage, children are prepared to acquire primary content. They can seek solutions themselves, asking for help when they need it, and giving it if asked. Let’s go to the next stage of development!
